In the Old Gateway Center, Placer county is providing free COVID-19 testing, located at 10990 Donner Pass Road, across the street from Tahoe Forest Hospital. It's a great service is operated by Optum Serve which is a contracted agency with our state of California.
Tahoe Forest Health System was recently a recipient of the California Opioid Care Honor Roll.
Our emergency departments in Truckee and Incline Village are open 24-7 for all emergencies.
The grateful patient program is an opportunity for us to connect with patients who've had a positive patient-care experience in our organization and give them an opportunity to connect and honor the caregivers that cared for them.
Tahoe Forest Health System's Grateful Patient program allows grateful patients to connect with our health system to be able to note those caregivers that made a powerful impact on their lives, or their departments of our health system that you know had a major impact as well.
We encourage individuals to have healthy eating habits, healthy drinking or fluid habits, and exercise. In this theme we have many programs that promote health and wellness proactive living throughout the communities that we serve in Truckee, North Lake Tahoe and Incline Village.
Our health system has adopted a high quality non-invasive cardiac recovery health program. We've chosen the nationally recognized Pritikin intensive cardiac rehab program which is Medicare approved.
