The phone number is a dedicated resource for community members to contact Tahoe Forest Health System with questions about the COVID-19 coronavirus, and when to seek care for respiratory symptoms.

The new phone number allows for a higher capacity of phone calls, and is intended as a resource for questions.

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, or are concerned about your symptoms, call the hotline. TFHS’s COVID-19 protocol-trained nurses will screen your symptoms and redirect you for further testing if needed.

As a reminder, the community should carefully read and follow the public health safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Nevada County Health Department.
