Learn more about the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s rural healthcare grant donated to the Incline Village Community Hospital.
“We are very excited and grateful to be receiving the largest charitable gift ever to be made to our Northern Nevada hospital from the Helmsley Charitable Trust,” says Harry Weis, President and CEO of Tahoe Forest Health System. “This gift gives us the opportunity to improve our healthcare delivery to our Incline Village and North Lake Tahoe communities by providing access to the same state-of-the-art technology typically found in urban centers,” he added.
Incline Village Community Hospital was gifted $1.8 million for purchase of a computer tomography (CT) scanner, fixed x-ray device and related costs. The advanced equipment produce higher quality images, allowing for improved health status assessments and proper course of treatments.
