Dr Winans’ outside interests include Nordic and downhill skiing, running, mountain biking and hiking. She enjoys adventuring with her husband and daughters, reading and engaging in our amazing mountain community! She came to Truckee/Tahoe part time in 1991 and moved here full time and began working for TFHS in 1994.

Dr. Winans is exceptional. She gave me a physical exam, asked all necessary questions about my issue, involved me in my treatment plan, and gave me encouragement for recovery. She is direct, friendly, and skilled. Her treatment succeeded, while the out-of-state doctor's hadn't. VERY grateful!
