FREE Community Health Talk - Tips & Tricks for Positive Relationships

An evidence-based program developed by Stanford University School of Medicine in which you will learn decision-making, becoming a self-manager, understanding common symptoms, using your mind to manage symptoms, exercise tips, healthy eating, and managing your medications.

Building Better Caregivers

An evidence-based program developed by Stanford University’s School of Medicine where you will learn skills to support stress reduction for the caregiver and care partner, self-care methods to improve caregiver’s health, dealing with difficult emotions, managing difficult care partner behaviors, planning for the future, information about resources, and increasing communication skills.

Chronic Pain Self-Management Program

An evidence-based program developed by Stanford University School of Medicine in which you will learn how to use techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, isolation and poor sleep; exercise for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility and endurance; use of medications; communication skills; healthy eating; pacing activity and rest; how to evaluate new treatments.

When: Fridays, 1:00 – 3:30 pm
January 11 – February 15, 2019

Living Well with Arthritis and Other Chronic Conditions

An evidence-based program developed by Stanford University’s School of Medicine where you will learn: how to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain, and isolation; appropriate exercise; appropriate use of medications; effective communication with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; decision making; how to evaluate new treatments; and how to set and stick with health goals.
