What is your go-to personal workout program?

I love to hike! There is something therapeutic about being outside in nature, I do my best thinking out on the trails. I hope to hike the Appalachian trail someday.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A soldier in the US Army, which is exactly what I did when I turned seventeen. I served for five years as a Data Analyst and was able to travel all over the world. It was an amazing experience where I met a lot of great people that I am still friends with today.

What is your favorite aspect of being an exercise physiologist?

I enjoy seeing the transformation of both physical and emotional health that happens in exercise programs. I have been lucky to see so many patients regain confidence and health throughout the years. I assisted one patient following a knee replacement lose two hundred pounds, we later hiked the Grand Canyon together. After ten years he has kept the weight off and lives a happy and healthy life.
