Dana Dose CDE, RDN

Dana is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator with a passion for coaching individuals through change to reach their healthiest self, and helping entire communities see their health potential. She has over 9 years' experience improving health among individuals and populations and holds supportive certifications in Personal Training, Health and Wellness Coaching, and Adult Weight Management.

Dana loves working with groups, speaking in front of crowds, and counseling individuals on topics including weight management, diabetes prevention and management, eating healthy on a budget, pediatric nutrition, heart health, sustainable habits and more.

Additionally, she works periodically as the inpatient dietitian at Tahoe Forest Hospital where she has the opportunity to make an impact with patients who are admitted to the hospital. She combines clinical knowledge with an education background and lifestyle coaching to provide a unique perspective to the Wellness Neighborhood team.

Join Dana and other wellness team members at the all new Weigh to Wellbeing drop-in weight loss support group every 2nd Tuesday of the month - 11:00am-12:00pm and 4th Monday of the month - 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

Dana will also be leading a new Diabetes Prevention Program group starting with a free info session April 23, and ongoing, Tuesdays at 4:15pm. This program, meant for people at-risk for developing type 2 diabetes, can reduce diabetes risk by 58% (or 71% for people over 60 years old).
