Prevent T2-Diabetes Prevention Program

One out of three adults have prediabetes and 90% of them don’t know it. We are proud to offer Prevent T2, which has been shown to help at-risk adults cut their risk for developing type 2 diabetes by 58%. The prevent T2 lifestyle change program can help you lose weight, become more physically active, and reduce stress. You get:

  • A proven program to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes
  • A CDC-approved curriculum and trained lifestyle coach
  • A year-long program with weekly meetings for the first 6 months, then once or twice a month for the second 6 months
  • Support from others like you as you learn new skills

Cost: Covered by Medicare and Medi-cal, or $450.

Feed Your Adventures-Eating to Elevate Health and Athletic Potential

Join us for this seminar tailored to anyone who enjoys setting and meeting recreational or professional athletic goals as part of a healthy lifestyle.

  • Learn principles of healthy eating, sports nutrition specifics, hydration science, and how to identify supplements to support your goals
  • Identify the principles of sports nutrition, including macronutrient and micronutrient requirements, hydration, and timing of meals
  • Begin to develop strategies for maximizing effectiveness of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in sports nutrition
  • Learn to identify sports drinks, foods, and supplements that can give you an edge

Introduction to Forest Bathing

Are you ready to try something new? Join us for an introduction to forest bathing! Forest bathing is a mindfulness practice of simply being IN nature, and connecting with it through our senses of sight, sound, taste, smell and touch. It is proven to reduce stress, lower heart rate and blood pressure, improve feelings of happiness, boost the immune system and even accelerate recovery from illness. Join Justine Nelson, certified integrative wellness coach, in exploring this healing practice in our amazing backyard and witness the benefits for yourself!
